Doug inspired me ages ago ( yes I'm THAT old ) to not just do magic and perform, but to be ME. I'm not sure that there is a greater lesson in magic or life that can be learned.

My favorite memory is seeing Doug and Debby perform live at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. For a short few hours that night, I was a kid again, enjoying the magic and wonder of it all.

I had the good fortune of being able to work with him and advise on some special effects that he wanted to include in his new show. I found him just as nice in person as I imagined he would be. Very humble, very inquisitive and VERY honest in his opinions.

Doug and Debbie, you touched and inspired a generation. THank you for all that you've done, and especially for that one magic night in DC!!

Debbie, Doug may be gone, but the magic lives on thru those that you both touched and inspired and they are many.

With a heavy heart, Steve
