This morning, as I was working on this page and listening to the radio, I got some news that shocked me. Doug Henning is dead. I was surprised at the intensity of the feeling of loss that I felt and have felt all day. In the 70's I grew up watching this man of wonder do his magic on TV and even met him once after a show in Minneapolis in 79.
His easy manner and enthusiasm for magic will never be forgotten. He worked to help create wonder in peoples lives. He succeeded.
