I have only known Doug personally for a few months. And while we were not able to meet face to face because of distance, I cherish the time we spent talking together on the telephone. It was always a pleasure to have him call for no other reason than to talk for a while. We are all richer to have known such a kind and gentle soul. Few performers have created such childlike wonder and amazement in an audience as Doug. May we all try to show the same love and kindness as he has.
We'll miss you!
