What a shock it was to open my Portland "Oregonian" newspaper this morning to learn of Doug's passing. So many artists working today (The Pendragons...Melinda...David Cooperfield) have drawn inspiration from your work and the world of magic is better for it. Those of us who recall those TV specials will never foeget them. Those shows sould be on Home Video so he will be able to inspire so many more magicians and fans. Rest easy, Doug. Your legacy is secure! And you will be missed....
