It's SO great to see all these beautiful thoughts and memories about Doug! I have known Doug since I was a little girl, and I just want to reassure everyone that he was in a VERY magical phase of life these past few years. Doug's greatness as a magician came from his knowingness that real magic DOES exist -- that's what people loved about him, whether they realized it or not. He always knew that the surface, changing level of life was just the thinnest illusion. That's what drew him to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique. By the end of his life, he was having such rich experiences of his own pure consciousness. He knew that his deepest nature was unbounded bliss -- this wasn't a philosopical idea for him but a spontaneous, living reality. He radiated it so naturally in everything he did. When someone is established on THAT level of life, one can feel pretty good about them at a time like this. :-)
One more thing -- just wait till you experience Veda Land! I had the opportunity to work on that project for a few months, and I can tell you that it's going to be amazing! Its whole purpose will be to wake people up to that level of REAL magic -- the worlds of wonder within their own consciousness. And then they'll know who Doug really was and continues to be...
