While I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Henning, he will always be the reason that I became involved in theater, art, and eventually lighting. His performances both live and on television helped to redefine magic and theater as we know it today. I feel fortunate to have seen him perform on two occassions. Due to his abscence from the entertainment industry during the past 14 years, most people my age will not recall the wonder, talent, and hope that he conveyed to all. This is just my way of saying that I do.
